Making a scarf for my daughter has been on my to-do list for well over a year. Now that fall has arrived, I decided she simply cannot go without a scarf this year! After looking at several photos of toddler scarves and reading through a few patterns, I came up with this one. I am thrilled with how it turned out!

This pattern is great for beginners.
Wavy Infinity Scarf
Size – Toddler
Hook size – H (5.00mm)
Row 1: Ch 22
Row 2: hdc in third ch from hook, *hdc in next 2 ch, 3 hdc in next ch, hdc in next 2 ch, skip 1 ch, reapeat from * twice, hdc in last ch, ch 2, turn.
Row 3: in back loops only – hdc in same st as ch 2, *skip 1 st, hdc in next 2 sts, 3 hdc in next st, hdc in next 2 sts, skip 1 st, repeat from * twice, hdc in last st, ch 2, turn.
Row 4-112 (or until desired length): repeat row 3.
Using a yarn needle, join the last row to the first row to form a loop.
Fasten off. Weave in all ends.
For alternating colours, this is what I did:
main colour – 6 rows
second colour – 6 rows
main colour – 2 rows
second colour – 2 rows
I followed this pattern 7 times.
You can definitely switch up the colours in whichever order you prefer; have some fun with it!
TIP – if you don’t like weaving in all the ends after changing colours, simply carry them up the side of the scarf. Then go around the edges afterward in sc to make a border.
